Indian Raita

Indian Raita is made with fresh yogurt and mixed vegetables such as Tomato, Onion, Cabbage, Chili, Carrot, Coriander Leaves..etc. There are various types of Raitas. I am sharing simple Raita Recipe with you all. Anyone can make this simple recipe. Biryani tastes better with Raita. Check out my Kerala Style Fish BiryaniTry this recipe.


Ingredients:

- 2 Chopped Onion

- 2 Chopped Tomatoes

- Piece of chopped Cabbage

- 1 Chopped Green Chili

- 1 Grated Carrot

- Some chopped Coriander Leaves

- 1 tsp. Sugar

- Salt as per taste

- 1 1/2 cups. Fresh Yogurt

Instructions:

Now to make Indian Raita. Take a bowl add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, chopped cabbage, chopped green chili, grated carrot and chopped coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients and add salt as per taste. Now add sugar and fresh yogurt. Mix it nicely and your Indian Raita is ready. Enjoy it.  

Tip: You can also add pieces of Cucumber.
