I bring here another chicken
recipe for chicken lovers. Today's recipe is Kashmiri Chicken. Kashmiri Chicken is prepared using some basic ingredients. You can easily prepare this for Lunch / dinner. One of
my favorite chicken dish. It tastes sweet, creamy and a little spicy. You
can prepare this dish for a party. Enjoy this with Roti, Naan, etc.
Ingredients:
To marinate chicken
- 1/2 kg Chicken
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp salt
To make paste
- 8-10 Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 inch Ginger
- 10-15 Cashew Nuts
- 4 Cloves
- 2-3 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
Additional Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 2-3 Bay leaves
- 3 Medium sized Chopped Onion
- 4 Chopped Tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as required

Instructions:
Firstly wash the chicken nicely. Now in a bowl, add chicken pieces, add
ginger garlic paste, add turmeric powder and salt. Mix it and keep it to
marinate for about 1-2 hour.
Now lets make a paste. In a mixer jar, add garlic cloves, mustard seeds,
cumin seeds, ginger, cashew nuts, cloves, and Kashmiri red chili powder. Add
some water and make a smooth paste of it.
Now lets make further process by adding remaining ingredients. Heat pan, add
the oil and butter. Add marinated chicken pieces and fry the chicken until
golden brown. When you see the chicken fried well remove the chicken pieces
on a plate.
Now in the same pan, add bay leaves and add finely chopped onions. Add a
pinch of salt. Saute it for some time till onion becomes little brown. Now
add chopped tomatoes. Mix it properly. Add turmeric powder, salt as per
taste and add black pepper powder. Stir it for some time and add the ground
paste. Mix all the ingredients well. Now add fried chicken. Mix it and add 1
cup of water. Cover it and cook for 10 minutes. Garnish it with Coriander
leaves. Enjoy your meal.
Tip: You can add Green Peas if you like.
