Sardines are called as "Talle" in Konkani. Sardines are very tasty and nutrient rich fish mostly small ones. They are very good for health. Rich source of vitamin B-12, vitamin D and its small bones contain calcium. Calcium is very essential for human body. Overall consuming sardines reduce the risk of disease.
Small sardines make this dish more tasty. You can make many more dishes from sardines. You can make curry, fry them and also can make tallyache sukhe. This dish can be prepared within short period of time. This is one of the quick dish. Big Sardines smell a lot, so I prefer small ones to make this dish.
