Soya Chunks
chili is the sweet and spicy recipe. Soya Chunks Chili is an
Indian-Chinese starter dish made with soya chunks. This recipe is simple
and fast to prepare. You can prepare this recipe for lunch or dinner. Soya
chunks Chili is a combination of soya sauce, tomato sauce, green
chili sauce and veggies. Try out my simple recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Soya Chunks (uncooked)
- 1 tsp. Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tsp. Red Chili powder
- 1 tsp. Curd
- 1 1/2 tsp. Maida or Cornflour
- 1 Medium Chopped Onion
- 2 Sliced Green Chilies
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 1/2 to 1 Chopped Capsicum
- 1 tbsp. Soya Sauce
- 2 tbsp. Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp. Green Chili Sauce
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as required

Instructions:
Firstly boil water by adding 1/4 tsp. salt and add soya chunks to it. Boil
it for about 5 minutes. Turn off the gas flame. Now drain out water
completely from soya chunks and add it in cold water. Let it soak for about
15 minutes. After this squeeze out the water completely.
Now in a boiled soya chunks, add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, curd
and maida. You can also add corn flour instead of maida. Mix the ingredients
well.
It's time to fry soya chunks. Heat pan, add the oil and add the mixture of
soya chunks. Fry it on medium flame. When you see soya chunks become golden
brown, remove it in a plate.

Now in the same pan add oil (if required), add chopped onions and green
chilies. Add some salt and saute it for some time. Fry onion till it becomes
translucent. Now add tomato and capsicum. Saute it till tomato and
capsicum become soft. Now add fried soya chunks. Mix it nicely. Add soya
sauce, tomato sauce and chili sauce. Cook it for some time on medium flame.
Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
Tip: You can also add carrot if you like.
