Hello Everybody. I am again here to share chatpati Aloo Chaat recipe with
you all. Aloo Chaat is prepared using boiled Potatoes, Onion, Tomatoes,
Chaat Chutney and combination of
spices. Aloo Chaat is street food, which is popular in North India. This
dish is served as a snack. Try this recipe. Now Lets start.
- 5-6 Boiled Potatoes (Aloo)
- 2 Medium size Chopped Onions
- 2 Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Chopped Green Chili
- Piece of Chopped Ginger
- Bunch of Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1/4 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp. Tomato Ketchup
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as required
- Sev
Aloo Chaat
Instructions:
Masala mixture
Heat the pan add oil and add chopped onions. Mix onions nicely. Add
chopped green chili and chopped piece of ginger. Saute it for sometime
till onions becomes little brown. Now add pieces of tomatoes. Let tomatoes
cook for some time on medium flame. When you see tomatoes become soft. Add
red chili powder, squeeze lemon juice and add some salt. Mix all the
ingredients nicely. Cook it for 2-3 minutes and put the gas flame
off.
Aloo mixture
Boil the potatoes and peel the skin of it. Now make small pieces of
potatoes. Add a pinch of salt to it, a pinch of red chili powder, chaat
masala, and tomato ketchup. Mix all this ingredients
perfectly.
Now in a bowl mix both the mixtures. Put this mixture in serving plate.
Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and chopped onion. Add sev and
chaat chutneys on top of it. Your
aloo chaat is ready.
Tip: You can also add Amchur Powder instead of Lemon
Juice.
