Uttapa or Uttapam is a healthy breakfast recipe from South Indian Delight. Today
I am going to share the simple breakfast Uttapa recipe which is prepared using
rice flour. Uttapa is Dosa like preparation, which you can easily prepare for
breakfast or evening snacks. You can make this recipe for kids as it is one of the healthy breakfast
recipe. So lets begin.
Ingredients:
- 2 Raw grated Potatoes
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 1 Grated Carrot
- 1 Chopped Green Chili
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- Bunch of Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 Cup Rice Flour
- Salt as per taste
- Water as required

Instructions:
First step is to make batter of Uttapa. Now in a bowl, add all the above
ingredients. Mix everything nicely and make a batter by adding some water. Keep
the mixture aside for 5 minutes.
Now heat the pan and brush oil over it. Pour some batter and spread it little.
Put some oil around it. Cover and keep it on medium flame. Turn it over. Let
it become a little brown on the other side. And Uttapa is ready. Serve it
hot with tomato ketchup and chili sauce.
Tip: You can also use Corn flour instead of Rice flour.
