How to make Dry Coriander leaves chutney
Dry Coriander Leaves Chutney is prepared using fresh bunch of Coriander
leaves, Gram flour, Mustard seeds, Asafoetida, Green chili and some oil. This
chutney is called as "Kothamirichi Chutney" in Konkani.
I learnt this recipe from my mother. I really like this chutney. You can
prepare this for lunch or dinner. This chutney is very simple to prepare. You
can easily prepare this within 15 minutes. Just try this simple recipe. This
is a very healthy recipe as it is free of coconut.
Dry Coriander Leaves Chutney |
Ingredients:
- 1 bowl Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp. Mustard seeds
- a pinch of Asafoetida
- 5-6 Chopped pieces of Green Chili
- 1/2 cup Gram Flour
- Salt as per taste
Instructions:
First step is to wash coriander leaves and keep it on a dry cloth to dry. When
you see it is completely dry. Finely Chop those coriander leaves and keep it
aside.
Now heat the pan, add oil, add asafoetida and chopped pieces of green chili.
Sauté it for a while and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds start to
crackle, add coriander leaves. Again sauté it till it coriander become soft.
Add salt. Now add gram flour. Sauté it until dry. Add more gram flour if
it is wet. Sauté it nicely. Dry coriander leaves chutney is ready.
