Egg Bhurji recipe easy

Egg Bhurji is an Indian dish prepared using eggs. Egg Bhurji is called as "Anda Bhurji" in Hindi and "Tatyachi Bhurji" in Konkani. It is very famous all over India. Egg bhurji is spicy scrambled eggs cooked with onion. Onion is very important to make egg bhurji. I mostly prepare this for dinner. You can also make it for breakfast. 

Egg bhurji with bread (Pav) is popular street food. Some of the egg dishes  I prepare is Ros Omlette, Egg curry, Egg half fry, Bread omlette, Egg biryani etc. Ros omlett is a popular Goan street food dish. Gravy is called as "Ros" in Konkani. Omlette is prepared and dipped in curry is ros omlette. 

I prepare egg bhurji adding malvani masala which makes it more tasty and spicy. But this is totally optional you can make bhurji without malvani masala. But it tastes awesome adding Malvani Masala. You can easily get this masala online.  

Try out this simple and quick recipe. 


Ingredients:

- 2 big size finely chopped Onion

- 2 Eggs

- 1 tsp. Tuemeric powder

- 1 tsp. Red Chili powder

- 1/2 tsp. Cumin powder

- 1 tsp. Malvani masala (optional)

- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper powder

- Salt

- Oil as required

Instructions:

First of all, In a bowl, break two eggs and whisk the eggs. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin (Jeera) powder, black pepper powder and salt. Whisk all the ingredients and keep the mixture aside.

Now heat pot, add oil and onion. Fry onion till it becomes translucent as shown in the below picture. 


Now add malvani masala to the onion. Saute it, add egg mixture. After adding egg mixture. Stir it continuously till it scramble well. When you see it scrambled and cooked perfectly turn off the gas flame. Egg bhurji is ready to serve.

You can serve this with roti, rice, paratha or chapati. 

Tip: You can also add Ghoda Masala instead of Malvani Masala.
